Past commissioner for the City of Merced Parks and Recreation Department. Former owner of Mrs. Adam's Gourmet Cookies "the cookies with an attitude." I have volunteered in the Merced city schools for over eighteen years reading with students. I led the fight for getting a book containing adult graphic material removed from not only our city school, but also our high school district. Currently I am serving as a board member for the LWVMC, and am writing a book on marriage and children. I have been married for twenty years. My husband and I have raised five children, and are currently raising two grandchildren.
